Generic vs Branded

9 January 2021/in Medicines /by PersonalChemist

Generic Vs Branded

Simply put overwhelming majority or in fact, almost everyone should have no problem when generic medicines are either purchased or given by your GP.

Those who experience issues with any change should explain it and rectify the issue.

Some medicines should only be issued by their brand name for certain individuals or certain conditions.

Understanding

If you are experiencing problems due to change from brand to generic – or vice versa – there could be a few reasons which would be specific for you.

In theory and reality for the vast majority of people, the change would have no effect and it should not make any difference.

Individual cases should be looked into to find a solution.

Take Action

PersonalChemist.com does that hard work for you.

We can ascertain whether any issues arising from interchanging branded with generic medicine has caused any issues.

If we find something which can be linked, we can give you a referral letter for your GP, which makes your life easy and your GP will appreciate as well.
