Alcohol
Lower your alcohol desire
If you are concerned by your alcohol intake or has someone mentioned that you might be drinking bit too much or perhaps daily – then we suggest you don’t ignore those voices.
Start by reducing or diluting your drink with water, that’s much easier to achieve and with a plan to follow you can reduce alcohol to recommended levels.

Understanding
There is a lower risk guideline for Alcohol but it does not mean that its completely safe to drink daily.
No denying that it will be difficult and no denying that you will need some disciplined and easy approach. Start by cutting down, skip one day.
If you are developing withdrawal symptoms then your GP can help and we can tell you how those medicines help you.
It is up to your GP whether you can have a medicine to completely stop drinking.
Take Action
Ask for help if you need help, dont be shy or afraid.
You might need a confidant, someone who can motivate and remind you. You will need help with discipline depending on your personality whether you need a nudge or push.
Ask a friend to help you through it, ideally not your drinking partner, if you are comfortable to engage your entire family and all friends to both motivate and discipline you – then that’s the best way.
Your PersonalChemist can help you with it but you will have to be committed.
